How to use your Scholarship Units Your Scholarship Units can be used for an upcoming UjENA Jam and Talent Search Week event. Your donors have contributed funds to help you cover your UjENA Jam expenses. Once all Jam fees are covered, then the balance can be used to cover the cost of your airline ticket. Your units cannot be used for guests or for someone other than yourself. The Next Three UjENA Jams!
Pick the UjENA Jam that works for you. Contact Cassandra Murray 650-917-6948 or by email at cassandra@ujena.com and let us know which Jam you want to attend. The deposit to hold your spot is only $249. You can use your Scholarship units to cover part or all of this deposit. You will receive email notification when scholarship units are donated to you. Please respond to your email within three business days. Scholarship units must be redeemed no later than 30 days before the start of a Jam. Once declared, you cannot cancel and final payment for the UjENA Jam is due. Should you not attend the selected Jam, and the scholarship is not utilized, the Donor must be refunded. One aspect of even signing up for the UjENA Jam is to acheive a certain amount of professionalism and build a positive reputation. In order to keep an untarnished reputation in the entertainment industry, it is imperative that you fulfill your obligations. We encourage you to find your own donors too. Ask your family, friends or local businesses to set up a Scholarship for you. Companies can write this off as a marketing expense and the link they will receive on UjenaTalent.com will bring exposure to their business. Or they can remain anonymous.
