Born in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. I was a typical Tomboy growing up, a career as a model was the farthest thing from my mind. I excelled at many sports winning numerous awards indiviually and with various teams.
My career as a model began on a dare during an international model search at a local hot spot. always up for a challenge, I entered, and walked away not only with the title, cash clothes, and car, but an exciting new career!
Over the next few years I really got into my modelling career and continued to enter and win competition after competition. Miss Hawaiian Tropic Canada, Miss Venus Swimwear, & Miss Swimwear Illustrated which landed me the cover of Swimwear Illustrated Magazine, and got me the nick name Slew (after Seattle Slew one of the all time great Triple Crown winners - LOL!).
Since then I have continued to win many more competitions, and pageants including: Mrs. Canada United Nation, Miss Hawaiian Tropic Turks & Caicos, Mrs. United Nation International, and American Dream Calendar Girl (Miss June 2005).
