Entered photography when I purchased the manual-focus Konica T2 in Nov1972. In the early 1980s, purchased the autofocus Canon 630 then evolved through other Canon AF film cameras to my current dSLR 40D. Took a parallel evolution through the Canon Powershot G- and S-series; my experience with the electronic-viewfinder feature in the S3 lead me to the 40D with LiveView; due to enhanced capabilities such as ISO 12000, now have 50D. Had taken another parallel path in B&W with the Yashica 124G twin-lens and Mamiya RB67 ProS; have not used for quite a while but this phase set the foundation for my B&W interpretations.
My gallery images show heavy influence of Photoshop (PS) to improve contrast of the model against the background. Also, the model's outfit is PS-enhanced (good if future UjENA outfits had special fibers to take advantage of "brilliant" lighting). Joined UT Group with Bob and other natural-lighting photogs to broaden my range without and with reflector (with assistant), instead of battery-powered White Lightning or AlienBees (with no assistant).
